Rotational Chains

Brevetti Stendalto robot/rotational chain systems designed for dynamic protection of cables and hoses in a rotational application.

In circular movements in a horizontal arrangement, the cable chain needs to move in two opposite circular directions (chains with rear bending radius). Almost all Brevetti Stendalto chain series can be supplied with this counter-radius.

Details of the Rotational/Robotic Chains

  • With the use of backward curved chains, it is possible to create rotations both on small and large equipment.
  • For applications with rotations up to 180° it is possible to use only one chain.
  • For applications with rotations over 180° it is necessary to use two chains
  • For a correct usage they should be guided both internally and externally
  • A special inner movable frame, mounted on anti-friction skids or pivoting wheels in combination with a guide housing facilitates the rotation.
  • To increase the angle of rotation about 540 ° several rotations can be built over each other.
